Hi there, my name is Yliana! I am a curly haired graphic designer and illustrator born and raised in San Diego, California. I graduated cum laude from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. When I’m not doodling or designing, I like to cook and bake, spend time with my cats Snow and Honey, play video games, try new vegan restaurants, and go on mini adventures!

Ever since I was young, I would take a pencil and pad of paper with me wherever I went. As I grew older, I had a great interest in organization and new technology. This drive to learn has worked to my advantage in how I present my vision in designing, illustrating, copy writing, and photography.

I have known since I was young that design was something that I loved. Being able to bring the ideas in my head to life and sharing that beauty with others is one of my greatest passions.

I am trained as a graphic designer, UI/UX designer, and fine artist. Illustration, hand lettering, and bold typography are often at the core of my work. I believe in surprise and delight as essential components of design.
