Hi Friend!

My name is Yliana! I’m a curly haired multidisciplinary creative born and raised in San Diego, California. I graduated cum laude from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design, and I currently work for El Pollo Loco as an in-house creative. When I’m not doodling or designing, I like to cook and bake (I make a mean banana bread), spend time with my cats Snow and Honey, play video games with my husband, try new restaurants, and travel!

Ever since I was young, I would take a pencil and pad of paper with me wherever I went. As I grew older, I had a great interest in organization and learning new technology. This has worked to my advantage in how I present my vision in design, direction, illustration, copy writing, and photography.

I have known since I was young that I wanted to work in a creative field. Being able to bring the ideas in my head to life and sharing that beauty with others is one of my greatest passions.

I have experience in graphic design, art direction, UI/UX design, marketing, and brand development. Clean layouts, fun illustration, hand lettering, and bold typography are often at the core of my work. I believe in surprise and delight as essential components of design.
